Force re-ask for SU
Force re-ask for SU
Running on a rooted Droid Razr Maxx. First time I ran it, it asked for SU permission, but before I had a chance to grant it, it went on assuming it was non-root. Now it is blocking WiFi only, and I don't see how to force it to ask again for root?
Re: Force re-ask for SU
Duh, uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it has root permission, but still only says that it's blocking WiFi. Any suggestions?

Reboot your device.

Re: Force re-ask for SU
This is not an Adblock feature but Superuser feature. It totally depends on how root is implemented in a phone.

OK...what's the "right" way? I'm rooted by standard Superuser and having exactly the same problem - WiFi only blocking. This is rather annoying.
For those seeing proper blocking globally, _how_ are you rooted, exactly? (More appropriately, how does ABP decide if you're rooted?)

I don't think this is a root issue. Yesterday, without explanation, ABP showed "Ads are blocked for all connections" for about 8 hours, until I had to reboot (for other reasons). Now I'm back to WiFi-only. No changes made.

OK - got the ABP update this morning. As soon as it applied, lo and behold, all connections were blocked (i.e. this is a good thing). Rebooted, back to WiFi blocking only. UGH!
