[FRQ] White-listing apps & websites

Postby F4LL0U7 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 4:12 pm

White-listing would be a valuable feature for a future release. Users should be able to white-list apps as well as websites (or just domains).

White-listing a website or domain could be as simple as prompting the user with a text box where they can type in their desired URL.

Choosing to white-list an app could open a full list of all installed apps on the device, which check boxes next to them. The user could then select one or more apps to white-list, and then click OK.

Whitelistening apps can be done only on rooted devices an is not on our roadmap. Whitelistening websites is planned for a future.
