Hi. I'm having the exact same problem on my S3 after the latest update to 4.1.2. I followed the instruction to a "T" but the Save button is greyed out. Any ideas? Thanks! :)

I had the same problem as others have described. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, the Sprint version (L720), running Jellybean 4.2.2..

Whenever I chose "Manual" for changing the proxy settings, as soon as I entered anything in the "Proxy host name" field, the "Save" button became grayed and wouldn't allow the changes to be saved. However, I fiddled with it a bit, until I accidentally found a solution. After putting 2020 in the "Proxy port" field, it occurred to me to change the value that I had already entered in the "Proxy host name" field. As soon as I placed my cursor back in that field, the "Save" button became white again, allowing a save operation. I experimented a bit more, and discovered that this form insists that the proxy port be specified before it will allow the proxy host name to be entered. If done in that order, it works like a charm.

Yes, Adblock Plus does block most ads that appear in other apps, but occasionally misses one. Had I a version on my Android that had as many capabilities as does the computer version, I would merely ascertain the origin of the ads that were missed, and make a rule that stops them. It's too bad that we don't have that capability with the Android version of Adblock Plus.

I also have noticed that since I got Adblock Plus running, I am experiencing a serious slow-down in programs' accessing of the Internet. They are timing-out now, quite a bit. I do hope that this is fixed. I realize that there would be at least a slight performance hit because of the use of a proxy. I didn't think it would be very noticeable, but it really is.

The same problem as shamoke: I have Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.2.2. When I choose in the proxy settings for the "Manual" option the save button will turn grey. I can't save the new settings.

same problem as both above - save button greyed out

I found the solution for my problem. There is also a line where it says: SKIP PROXY FOR LOCALHOST and example.com and test.com. Its a bit greyish. I typed in that window: localhost. AFter that I could save the changes to my network.

Acer a510 with jb 4.1.2 not rooted
The app doesn't tell me what port to use for the proxy. 2020 and 26571 don't work. Any way to figure out the right port?

Hi,
Having the same problem, tried what you wrote, but it didn't work out for me.
(Did you mean filling out first the proxy port 2020 and then the proxy name?)
Any other suggestion?

Thanks :)

Hi. I have an LG G2, running Android 4.2.2 and when I try to manually configure, I go through all of the steps. I set proxy to localhost, the port to 2020, but it won't allow the save button to activate. It seems to be waiting for an answer to "bypass". Is there a value that I should enter?
