Latest update - Dolphin Browser
Latest update - Dolphin Browser
Just wondering if there will be a fix for compatibility with Dolphin Browser. Everything was working fine until the latest update. Now most web pages just load blank in Dolphin and Dolphin Beta (although the same pages work fine in other Android browsers). Tried on multiple devices and both Easylist and Fanboy, same result. As soon as I disable ADB, everything works fine.
Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
No problems for me with release version and beta of Dolphin.
Does it work if you uninstall and re-install it?

Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
Yes, I reinstalled several times, and have tried it on three different Android devices (Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Asus TF101), all with the same result. Also tried it with both Dolphin and Dolphin Beta. Basically normal web pages (such as http://google.com) simply come up blank. Once you deactivate the app, then the web pages load fine.
Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
I do not have jetpack installed.
Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
Same problem, update ruined the add-free experience in dolphin browser, which is the best browser for android (and since firefox has its own adblock plus plugging), so the whole businness about updating to a better state defeats its purpose by not letting you navigate on normal pages. Please fix that or warn users before installing the latest version.
It somehow got partly fixed when I switched into private mode the browser, then pages started to appear again. That could work for some while they fix the mess...

Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
Have been using ABP with Dolphin for some time & for some reason, Dolphin now refuses to load pages. Puzzled! ABP switched off & dolphin is fine... Running on Nexus 7

Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
I've tried several devices and could not reproduce this problem. May be there is specific condition? Subscription, exact URL, etc?
Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
I would be happy to help with providing information if you can tell me what you need. For me, it's all three devices I own (Nexus 7, Nexus 10, TF101), and both Dolphin and Dolphin Beta. Both Easylist and Fanboy subscriptions. And all web pages load with a blank white screen when ABD is turned on, including normal URLs like http://google.com. Once you turn ABD off, a refresh of the web page loads fine. I could record a video of the behavior if that would help, but I don't think that would provide you any clues. Are there any debug tools that I could run to help provide you information?
Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
There was no problem until I installed Dolphin beta & the blank pages started on that after running fine for a couple of days - then the same thing happened with the original Dolphin. Don't know if that helps. Can't recall exactly what I was trying to load when I first noticed the issue, but fairly sure it was the BBC news site

Otherwise, my experience is very similar to Volarium's
Re: Latest update - Dolphin Browser
I can confirm the same problem with the latest Dolphin version.
I installed ABP, configured it correctly and Dolphin stopped working.
It simply shows pages as blank.
However, the interesting thing is that Dolphin works with HTTPS sites.
So the bug is only related to normal HTTP.
Looking forward to a bug fix !
Running non-rooted Android 4.2.2 on Samsung Galaxy S4

I can confirm the same behavior. https pages appear to load fine with Adblock running, but http pages are blank.
http://google.com <- loads blank
https://google.com <- loads fine
Good clue!
