"You probably need to adjust configuration"

On my phone (Galaxy SIII) and tablet (Nexus 7) I continually get this notification: "You probably need to adjust configuration". This is incredibly irritating as it happens many times every day. Is there a way to turn the notification off?

Does ABP work like it should? Block the ads? Because this nottification means that you maybe not using it correct, setting the localhost proxy etc. (http://adblockplus.org/en/android-config)

Yes, APB is working fine. I've set the localhost and proxy as advised. I still get the notification, which is driving me crazy. Now what?

Could it be your wifi signal is weak or your device is not in the reach of your wifi network when that message appears?

The notification pops up no matter how strong or weak the signal. I've also uninstalled and re-installed ABP.
