I followed your advice, and after some tinkering it now works! Thanks a bunch!!

1. Go to "more.." in settings for wireless (first part of the settings menu)
2. Go to "mobile networks" (http://support.google.com/android/bin/a ... wer=169097)
3. Go to "Access Point Names" (http://support.google.com/android/bin/a ... 097#mobile)
4. then klick on the point with internet and gprs (not the same on all devices. at mine it looks like: "E-Plus Web Gprs" or "Provider" Web Gprs)
5. then set the proxy and the port like in your wlan settings
Like a boss!

Thanks man! :D

I pretty much use it just for my youtube playlists anyway. So this is a huge help when I want to play a playlist of like 40 music videos, and I don't have to listen to a stupid ad in between each song. Thanks for the help.

I have root.

It doesn't work for data connection.

Where, how and what do I need to do?

Every article I found is from 2012 at the latest and not relevant anymore at the slightest.

android v. 4.3
does this work for data connections or not (non wifi connections) ?

I confirm that this works perfectly. Maybe it is pertinent that the access point of my provider only supports IPv4, and not IPv6. Anyhow, the en/android-config page is misleading, giving the impression that adblock plus works only with WiFi, and not with mobile data connection.
