AdBlock has turned into quite a piece of ***.

Nexus 7 browsers are all crippled by the proxy: Connection drops and resets.

Looks like the developer is IGNORING these crippleware issues and this thread.

Many sites earn their revenues from companies that place ads on their sites. If the ads are blocked, the company is wasting their advertising money. Is it possible that the connection issues are related to revenge or reverse blocking by sites that depend on advertising revenue to force people to drop/disable their ad blocking software? Just curious, not paranoid.

If the ads were small/unintrusive then that would be fine but many pop up over what your reading.
For many the problems are more than just minor, the inability to visit or problems using their appstore being one so I doubt the site would be blocking adblock back in that case.

Even I am having the same problem with youtube and google play (specially google apps). I can see there is bypass proxy setting and I put http://www.youtube.com, play.google.com but nothing happens. Do we have any fix for this issue?

Forgot to tell mine is nexus 7 2013 version with wifi only.

Hallo, I have the same problem on original N7. Is removing the proxy setting the only solution?

I'm running Adblock Plus 1.3 build # 359

on a Nexus 6P, running Android 6.0 Marshmellow

I tried the latest dev build as well, to no avail
