I have problems with YouTube too. At first it works and after a few hours it doesn't. And evey couple of days can't access play store.

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but I figured a way to make ABP work on my rooted Nook HD+.
I uninstalled ABP and after reinstalling, the first run asks for super user permission. I chose to never allow and now all HTTPS sites seem to be running normally.

Btw, I'm running now PAC-rom.

I use ADB on Android with "Proxy Settings" application.

It is a free application.
You can disable ADP on one "click" and re-enable it quickly.
So it is very complementaire with ADP on Android.

ABPseems determined to commit suicide! They do not bother to address long running problems like this that make it unusable. The other issue I have come across is the huge data use which is denied or ignored.
