Lollipop with root "connection error" & waiting on 2020

Hi. I have Nexus 7 2012 Wifi with Lollipop 5.0 and rooted. Granted SU permissions but:
- Subscription filters are unable to donwload; I selects EasyList and it says "connection error"; but my connection is perfectly working; why is it impossibile to download the filter list?
- it stays on "waiting for traffic on port 2020".

Help is appreciated.

neither seem to work for me, any advice?

keep clicking the refresh button, i do that like 5-10 times then it succeedly download the filter list
