can't login to nytimes.com

Hello,

I can't sign in to the New York Times website (mobile.nytimes.com) in Chrome or Dolphin (without Jetpack) when ADP is enabled. (It works in Firefox.)

I go to the login page, sign in, and I get back to the home page but the site still says "Subscribe | Log In" at the top. As soon as I disable ADP it works and the site recognizes I'm logged in.

The NYTimes app works fine, as does sign in via Firefox. Dolphin with Jetpack and its internal ADP plugin enabled (and the ADP Android app disabled) works fine.

I'm running Cyanogenmod 11S on a rooted OnePlus One phone, though this also happened on latest CM 11 M12 on a rooted Verizon Galaxy S4.

Thanks,

Raul

I have this same issue. With ABP enabled, after I try to log in it brings me back to the login page. Disabling ABP allows me to log in properly. This only happens with the Android version, using the default US EasyList.

It turns out that if I allow 'Acceptable Ads', the login works. But I don't want to keep that enabled because it allows way too many ads through.

Is this ever going to be fixed? The only way for me to reliably log into nytimes.com is to disable Adblock Plus completely (I was wrong about the Acceptable Ads option above), delete all nytimes.com cookies, and log in.

It's been broken for months, since at least the OP's post back in December. It would be nice if this was fixed for such a major site like the NY Times.

Coincidentally, the new Adblock Browser for Android handles nytimes.com properly (with Adblock Plus turned off, obviously).
