Cannot access websites after modifying proxy

I have installed Adblock Plus for Android on my tablet. Then as per instructions I manually configured proxy settings. But as soon as I do that I am unable to surf the web or access any websites.

I have the same issue with my note 3 after modifying the Wi-Fi and APN
no access at all (browsing,apps,..etc.)

Same problem - moto g/carbon rom. Using adblock tends to end up blocking all browsing.
