I use the "Hotspot Shield VPN Proxy, WiFi" app (see https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .vpn&hl=en) whenever I am on a public WiFi hotspot. The app is available on Google Play (see https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .vpn&hl=en). When Hotspot Shield is running ABP for Android gives me the following notification: "Adblock Plus, Waiting for traffic on port 2020". If I turn off Hotspot Shield then the notification goes away and ABP works as expected.
I suspect this is a conflict between the proxy used by Hotspot Shield and the proxy required by ADP (i.e., localhost on port 2020). Is there a workaround for this problem?
