Moto G falcon Cyanogenmod - some apps blocked from internet

Hi

I have just installed Cyanogenmod cm11 Android 4.4.4. Adblock plus 1.2.1. With filtering on, the Weather & Clock widget app, Simple Dilbert app, BBC Weather app, Maps.Me app, cannot access their servers. With filtering off they all work fine. The device is rooted, so no proxy settings.

I also have a Nexus 7 grouper with the same release of Cyanogenmod and the same apps installed. They all wonk fine with Adblock plus filtering on. Both devices are using the Easylist filter subscription.
