Always blocks ads even when not supposed to

Adblock Plus seems to block ads even when I have set it to NOT block ads.
Can I get it to stop doing this?
This is on a LG Volt, Android 4.4.2.
Adblock Plus is 1.2.1.

Yes, I just tried the dev. build, and the same thing happens.
By the way, the dev. build reports its version as 1.2.1.
