Adblocker wont install on HTC One M8 verizon 5.01

Hello
I have Adblocker Plus installed on Verizon HTC One M8, however I can not update to latest version. I downloaded the apk file, clicked on install and it wont click, or wont do anything else. Only way to get out is to press cancel. My Android in 5.0.1

Did you try first uninstalling ABP ?

Yes I did, it wont still enable install button

Could be your downloaded copy is corrupt.
Could you try to download from the mediafire link here ? ==>

know the copy is good as it installed on my tablet. I even went and changed to developer status but still the install button is not activated.

Did factory reset but still adblock will not install

anyway the same apk is running on your tablet, right ?

yes tablet is v4 android so it seems to work well and blocking ads on wifi.

Still it wont install. I disabled almost all of the apps on my phone, removed some too. but the install button is still not enabled
