I tried everything, with or without manual proxy, but ABP just does not work.

Also used http://simple-adblock.com/faq/testing-your-adblocker/ to confirm that nothing works.

I'm using Chrome on my Moto G with Android Kitkat 4.4.4.

Also, is this true? Google Has Effectively Killed Adblock Plus In Android 4.2.2

Any solution?

Hi,

This is exactly the problem I have with my Motorola Moto G XT1039 running android 4.4.4. ABP basically does not run properly.

Browsers Firefox with ABP works and even Maxthon with ABP Beta work if I disable ABP for Android but if I enable ABP all my Mobile Browsers, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Maxthon, Dolphin cannot connect to the "proxy server".

I have been an avid PC, Laptop and Android user and supporter of ABP for years but I am getting very frustrated with primarily Google and now with ABP for not fixing the Android issue or admitting that ABP no longer works with Android Mobile devices.

Tough one I know but time for ABP to fix it or own up.
