I am using the latest Adblock plus on both my Nexus 5 (A 5.1) and a Samsung Tab 4 (A 4.2.2). After setting the proxy up as explained in the ABP how to, I cannot connect to Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Google Playstore and many other sites (oddly, I can still connect to RT.com news).
My older version of ABP (before the proxy setting versions) always worked. What happened? Is there a work around for this?
I know Google Playstore and the newer Android versions are trying to wipe out ABP. I just hope there is a work around for now.
