Verifying Installation?

Hey,
so I installed on ABP on my rooted Xperia Z3 compact.

From what I gathered from the download page, I do not need to configure the proxy manual, right?
Still I was wondering if is correctly set-up now and if there is a way to test actually the working state of ABP?

I said "site" and not app; even though ABP does filter ads in apps, they're not a high priority for the major filter-list maintainers, so for all I know that particular ad network was just never targeted, and it managed to slip by the generic filters in EasyList.

Again, try to go to some major media site, using Chrome or some other browser that can't have extensions, and see whether you still see the onslaught of ads; if you do, that's how you know it isn't working.
