2020 not working LG G3 5.0 lollipop

If anyone can help me figure out why ABP is Stoll waiting for traffic through port 2020, that would be amazing. I followed all the instructions. Enabled unknown sources, localhost, 2020, also typed in my password and I can't connect through WiFi. Please help. I'm not very good at this as is plain to see but I usually figure these things out! Am I supposed to type anything in for bypass proxy for?

Same problem here, on the same phone : after manually configuring proxy with "localhost" and port "2020", AdBlock plus keeps "Waiting for traffic on port 2020".
My config : non-rooted LG G3 with Lollipop

I have a galaxy s6 on lollipop I followed all the instructions correctly apparently bc I have a message that says that the ads are being block when I'm in wifi connection but I still get all the ads on my apps ;/

I also have G3 lolipop. The solutions in forums did not work. But I fooled around and found solution.

Disconnect the wifi connection (by tapping on it and tapping forget network).
Try to reconnect and while putting in password, also put in the proxy host name as localhost and proxy as 2020.

Now save button isnt greyed out
