Adblock Plus

I may have already asked this but anyway.
Is there any way to add Adblock to smart TV browser? AB works great on PC but web browser on my Sharp TV is plagued with ads. Resulting in re-routes to commercial sites instead of playing a video. TV is only several months old 80'' Sharp, so it apparently has the latest and the greatest for that make.

If it's an Android-based smart TV, you may have hope, but if not, you might be able to rig up something in your router but there's probably nothing for your smart TV's browser.
