Android In App ads are not blocked

Hi,

I have ABP(1.3) installed on Mi4i(Android 5 Lollipop, MIUI).
ABP settings subscribed to "EasyList", disabled Acceptable ads.
Wifi n/w proxy set to "localhost:2020". My notification says "Ads are blocked on wifi".
But i see ads at the top/bottom of the apps.
Please help.

I'm having a similar experience. Adblock works against some ads, but not so towards others.

For example, I'm seeing ads in the Frozen Freefall Disney app, but not in the new game Agar.io

Actually, I seem to be getting more and more advertisement of the worst kind now (like the banner or the teleport-to-browser-even-if-you-asked-nothing). I did update my subscriptions though.

HTC Lollipop Ads are not blocked either. Gas buddy and other apps show ads. Says ads are blocked on Wifi but they are not. Other apps also shows ads.

I have the same very problem with my Nvidia Shield tablet. I believe there is a latest Android installed. Lots of apps freely displaying ads! At this very moment I am listening podcast with Podcast Addict app and the app is infested by ads! Lots of developers are asking for donations of different sorts, but I am not sure at all that with financial support the Ad Block would be significantly different.

Same here.. Latest version of ABP up and running fine (it says ads are blocked), but am still bombarded with in-app / pop-up ads all over the place, all the time. Some ads are blanked (empty boxes), but most are still left untouched.. Drives me mad! Any ideas?

if the ads are served by some https address in your app, ABP can not block the encrypted traffic / ads (in android ABP is a proxy)

Is it possible for ABP to block https ads, assuming it gets the right update? I'm dying for an update to Android ABP.

So the only way to block these https in app ads is via IP address or URL?
I'm assuming the actual apps or server the app communicates with aren't serving the ads just requesting them via https.

I have similar problem in my android tablet. I have ADP but still ads keep showing when I play games. How to know if ads is in https?
