Using Adblock Plus on Android?

Hi,

I have been using Adblock Plus on desktop PCs for many years and it is great. However, I am considering using Adblock Plus on an unrooted Android table/phone. Could you please advise if the following Adblock Plus usage options on Android are correct (I am a newbie to Android)?

1) Install the Adblock Plus extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/androi ... lock-plus/) on the regular Firefox app. This will block ads in just Firefox with both data and wi-fi.

2) Install the Adblock Plus extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... cddilifddb) on the regular Chrome app. This will block ads in just Chrome with both data and wi-fi.

3) Install the Adblock Plus for Android app (android-install). This will block ads in all browsers and apps (e.g. games), but for wi-fi only (not data). However, I assume it won't support Element Hiding in web browsers?

4) Install the Adblock Browser app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... us.browser). This will block ads in just the Adblock Browser app with both data and wi-fi.

Also, what is the advantage of using a separate browser app (Adblock Browser), over simply adding the Adblock Plus extension to the regular Firefox app?

Many Thanks.

Chrome for Android does not support extensions, and I guess the advantage of using Adblock Browser is that you get a Chromium/Blink-style engine with decent ad-blocking easier setup.
