Over the last few weeks I have noticed annoying flashing ads (for Philips) appearing on theguardian.com website, and just yesterday and ad for MS appeared on smh.com.au.
These ads do not show in FF on Windows 7, only in FF on Android (latest version on Galaxy Note II).
No ads show in smh desktop or mobile site in FFon Windows 7; cannot view guardian mobile site in Windows 7.
The url of the ads suggests they should have been blocked (googleads and adclick):
1) theguardian.com
https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/acl ... ng-at-home
2) smh.com.au
https://adclick.g.doubleclick.net/aclk% ... 1454008662
Some ads appearing in FF on Android
Re: Some ads appearing in FF on Android
Hey undine!
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Could you provide the Android version of your device? I will try to run some tests.
Also, just to be certain, are you referring to Adblock Plus proxy app? Have you tried Adblock Browser?
Hope to be able to support you with that.
