Adblock Plus

I generally don't mind ads too much on mobile.
Until I see a YouTube preroll ad.
And that seems to be the only thing ABP for Android doesn't handle.
Either the ad gets through or the ad-enabled video fails to load entirely.
I understand ads support channels, but some of them have so many on mobile that I've simply written them off, unsubscribing and watching them exclusively on my computer, where ABP works.

And since I've read the forums and saw there was no solution, I was wondering if you could or even are working on an Android YouTube player that takes care of this issue.

Thanks for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have a developer dedicated for ABP for Android.
Have you tried Adblock Browser? I has got many cool features. If you want to watch YT videos you have to set it up for desktop mode so it doesn't direct you to YT app and you can watch within Adblock Browser with no ads.

I do hope that you can get started on a viewer, though, since desktop YouTube is so badly broken on my phone that it's almost worth just dealing with the ads.

As far as I know, Firefox is working on the viewer so you don't have to set it up for the desktop mode.
