Unable to change proxy settings

Hi! My phone is currently running android Marshmallow. When I connect to my WiFi network, then press & hold the network, and press modify network. The next step where you tick the box in show advanced options , there is no box there for me to tick to manually change my proxy settings. Any suggestions?
