Problem with adblock plus for android

I just installed adblock plus on my htc one mini and I can't get it to work. I put all the proxy settings right but it still keeps waiting for the traffic at port 2020. I put the proxy host name as localhost and the port to 2020. And nothing happened. I would appreciate some help.
