Push notifications requests? New, and unwelcome

Post by Steelguitarlane »

Up until the last few days, I'd never seen these abominable things when surfing with AdBlock (I'm guessing you previously, wisely, didn't support them).
Now many websites are making me decline or accept them.
They're unacceptable.

I do not wish to decline them on a per-website basis.
I don't think it unreasonable to expect that the browser can reject them globally.
But I can't find it in the settings menu.
I want, no, I insist that the last one I saw will be the last one I ever see: both Chrome and Firefox have managed it.
Where do I find the ability to nuke them from orbit in the AdBlock browser?
Failing that, explain how it's a good thing to make my phone a permanent arm of the kinds of websites that think these are good ideas?
