Cant Uninstal old version!

When I try to install version 1.4. It keeps telling me feature you are looking for is on a CD or DVD. Which is wrong! Then when I click browse it looks for adblockplusie-1.3-multilanguage-x64.msi which isn't there!

Did you try uninstalling the old version from control panel ?
You could also disable all other addons (especially antivirus plugins) in IE, restart IE and install 1.4 (after uninstalling 1.3)

When I try uninstalling old version from the control panel the same stuff comes up. Now I have another problem. I deleted the old dll's and exe files from the Adblock plus engine to disable it, because when I tried to
uninstall it the time before it told me engine still running even after it tried to stop it. So I changed the extensions from dll to dlll and exe to exel so they wouldn't load on a reboot. Then I was going to look for the install files in the windows system file delete them, run 3 different registry cleaners to delete all references to the non existent files, and then try to reinstall 1.4 but I decided its to much of a pain. So I went and tried to restore from the recycle bin and it won't let me restore the old files for some reason. Now I have no Adblock software running on ie11. It lets me restore other files I put in it though! I should have never reinstalled this software for IE11 it screwed up IE11 on my last clean windows install and wouldn't update then either!

I found the answer! I downloaded Revo Uninstaller pro and it took care of uninstalling all old registry entry's, and program files! I've been using Iobits uninstaller but I guess its not as effective as Revo. The Adblock Plus installer didn't make the same errors!
