Expired certificate do not allow addon to be installed

Post by scruj »

I am trying to install adblock for ie from this page:
http://www.iegallery.com/Addons/Details/16161

After download, installation fails with error:
0x800b0101 - A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in signed file.

Tested under windows 7, windows 8.1

The IE Gallery is hosting a horribly outdated version (1.0) of ABP for IE; go to https://adblockplus.org/ instead, to get the latest stable version of ABP (1.5).
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
