Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
The important thing is that it's at least IE8.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
Thanks.
We use Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 2012R2, the plugin is activate, but not working.
I have check the option "enable third party browser extensions" is activated.
Best regards.

Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
Do you see the icon on the status bar ?
Do you get some error ?
Did you try disabling other addons, keeping only ABP ?
If the icon is visible:
Check the patterns.ini file if its size is at least some MB
the folder with patterns.ini is at:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Adblock Plus for IE\
(%userprofile% is your user profile directory, like "C:\Users\YourUser")

Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
probably you should also see if IE Enhanced Security Configuration (ESC) is enabled.
Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
Thanks mapx for your help.
IE Enhanced Security Configuration is already disabled.
I don't see the icon on the state bar, but no error message.
I will test to disable all other addon.

Hello,
If i activate only Adblock, it's not working.
But when i disable the option "enable third party browser extensions", the addon has state "new" and i can't activate it.
Have you some ideas ??

Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
"enable third party browser extensions" has to be allowed
I asked the devs if ABP for IE can run on your system. Hopefully, we'll get soon an answer.

Re: ADB on Windows 2012R2
Hello,
I can confirm that ABP for IE does work on MS Windows 2012R2 server, however "IE Enhanced Security Configuration" should be disabled. Allowing of "Enable third-party browser extensions" when "Enhanced Security Configuration" is enabled is not enough to have it fully operable. By the way disabling of "IE Enhanced Security Configuration" automatically enables "Enable third-party browser extensions".
In addition, I would like to add that it also works when EPM and 64bit mode are enabled.
Tested in the following environment:
Windows 2012R2 Standard Evaluation, build 9600, x86-64
IE 11.0.9600.17031
ABP for IE 1.5.0.0
Update:
Basically, enabling of "Enable third-party browser extensions" is enough to have ABP for IE working even with enabled "IE Enhanced Security Configuration", it blocks requests as well as hides elements. However, to have a working settings page one has to enable "Scripting" (JavaScript) for "Internet" zone.
