Can't disable individual sites in IE

Post by Fred Jones »

AdBlock Plus works perfectly in Firefox and Chrome on my laptop. In IE I can't get it to disable individual sites. I just updated IE and loaded ABP today so I have the most recent versions of both. All I need to do is disable one site, and it says it's disabled when I click on the icon and go to settings, but I can't. Any ideas? I tried it on a few sites just to check and it doesn't disable any of them. Thanks.

I do a lot of health care research and there are some writers I follow on a daily basis. Right now the site I need to get on is www.forbes.com - it asks that you turn off the ad blocker to continue. I've tried it on a lot of other sites - www.nytimes for instance and it won't disable itself there either.

Thanks, I really appreciate any help you can offer.

unfortunately on forbes does not work, I see no issues on nytimes: why do you want disabling on nytimes ?

However, you should work using chrome in these cases.
