ABP doesn't disable social media buttons in IE

What you see below is a cut & paste form your ABP website. It doesn't mention ''Internet Explorer''. Is it because disabling media buttons from this (EI) browser isn't possible? Or is there a way not mentioned? If it doesn't, does ABP plan to offer this option in the near future?
