uncheck enable 3rd party browser extension disables Adblock?

Adblock test at ( http://simple-adblock.com/faq/testing-your-adblocker/ ) shows not working when I go to internet options/advanced tab and uncheck "enable third party browser extensions".

Does Adblock disabled when I uncheck this option. Also the ABP stop sign in status bar disappears when I uncheck this option. I looked in manage addons and adblock is still enabled so why does Adblock show not working on the Adblock test.

that site is working on my end and ABP for IE is also working correctly.

I was using Windows 10 LTSB 2016 (v1607) and Internet Explorer 11 with Adblock Plus 1.6 for IE.

what version of Windows are you using, charly54?
