Adblock Plus

I’m not sure if this is the right forum section for this question, but in the sense that ads that don’t track are acceptable, Firefox’s Tracking Protection (TP) feature can be seen as a form of blocking non-acceptable ads. A new post on the ABP Blog compares ABP to Chrome’s new ad blocker, and that got me wondering how Firefox’s TP performs in comparison.

@simevidas! Good question! Well as far as ABP and FF Tracking protection most of our Firefox users are fine using both ABP and FF TP in conjunction with each other but the general feedback is as it relates to ad blocking ABP is still needed though FF TP is enabled. There is also feedback that FF TP needs to be disabled for users who need to whitelist some sites. Even though they whitelist in ABP, the FF TP still blocks it of course. Those users tend to keep FF TP disabled. I hope this helps!
