version 0.1 safari : not blocking youtube banner ads

I am using the Adblock Plus for Safari 0.1.0.1071 on safari 7.0.1. I had Adblock installed earlier which i disabled but did not uninstall. Also if it helps I did not restart my browser.

The issue is that I can still see the banner ads that come at bottom in youtube videos. I noted that they only come in some cases.

thanks for your bug report. I have implemented blocking of youtube ads a while ago, but my patch is still under review (http://codereview.adblockplus.org/4922142982406144/). It probably will be merged soon.

We are going to release a public beta in a few weeks. Most of the work is already done, but the patches still needs to be reviewed. The current development build (without the changes currently under review) is still pretty buggy. So I suggest to wait until we release the beta.

I tried this version of the plugin: adblockplussafari-1.7.2.1095.
Banner and ads in youtube video are always present. I don't know if it is normal, but I think there are graphical problems by pressing the button of ABP, i don't see any text.

Which version of Safari are you using? Which language is you Safari/MAC OS X? Does it still happen with the latest ABP devbuild (1.7.2.1096)?

Did you move your Adblock+ button on the Safari toolbar or left it in the default position?

I was facing this problem until I reset my toolbar button to its default place and have not seen the problem since.

Same graphical problem with the latest build 1096. I don't have move the ABP button on the toolbar, it's in the default installation position.

There was a bug that caused missing translations in the popover, when using other languages than English. This issue should be fixed with the latest devbuild 1.7.2.1097.

Ok now is fine, only at the bottom the translation is too long and exit from the window
