Block Element not Saving

On Macupdate.com there is a placeholder at the top ("ad").
When I block the element and save it, it disappears from the page.
But after a refresh it's back again. Thanks very much

I don't see any ads on macupdate.com, with EasyList enabled (default). Blocking additional elements seem to work as well. Could you provide a screenshot? Also which version of Safari are you using?

After I add this to ABP it disappears but after the page is reloaded it returns.

There was a bug, not properly escaping characters in css classes, when generating the filter rule. This also affected ABP for Chrome and Opera. It is fixed with the latest devbuild 1.7.4.1111.
