How do I delete Adblock from my computer?

Adblock just isn't working of me. It has slowed my mail to turtle speed. I can't find where I can delete the app on my Mac.I am so sorry I downloaded the program because now I feel like it is in control of me instead of me being in control of my computer. Someone please help!

Are you using adblock plus ? (there is also another adblock extension)
