AdBlock stopped blocking Spotify ads on Safari

Adblock on safari suddenly stopped blocking ads on Spotify play.spotify.com when I reopened Safari. Problem is only for Safari and seems to block YT and other ads. Just Safari Spotify ads.
I uninstalled/reinstalled, unchecked allowing some non-intrusive ads, tried installing whatever version I could find & not working!
Even worse, Spotify plays ads loudly even when I have the volume lowered or muted! HELP!!!

only in safari, so you already tried in chrome / firefox ? In chrome I get no ads (in 2-3 songs). I can't test in safari.

Yes only stopped working in Safari 2 days ago. Blocks Spotify ads in Firefox and Chrome.

post in the chrome section with all the details, page where you see ads, check if the filter lists are still enabled and correctly downloaded

Remove flash?? No. not doing it. Spotify plays with flash, and I need flash. Adblock is supposed to remove ads.

hmm, right, spotify needs flash, I was thinking it works even in html5.

In this case, are you sure spotify worked before without ads ?

Requests initiated by third-party plugins like Flash can't be blocked. This mostly affects in-video ads (like prerolls), however not those on YouTube, which are blocked in a different way.

Yes it was blocking all ads until 2-3 days ago, then I quit Safari and reopened it, and the ads started playing.

I'm a tech dummy and can't understand this page of text for the life of me. Looks like a list of websites. What part of the text do I copy and what do I do with it?
Instructions is not clear, and seems to be for Macintosh (pre OS X), not my current mac OS X..
