Hello TheBoyzDad!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Safari made some changes, requiring all extensions not just Adblock Plus to update in order to maintain functionality. The updated version is now available in the App Store https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adblock ... ls=1&mt=12. Let us know if you have any issues! We are more than happy to help!

Thanks
Shannon

Hello Shannon. I do in fact have an issue and hopefully there's a simple solution that I'm overlooking. Below I'm going to repeat what I already posted earlier today, but maybe ABP has not yet read:
Hey acoustic art (Don), same exact problems and thoughts. Updated to Safari 12.0 today, it deleted old Adblock from extensions. Found "Adblock Plus For Safari" with release date of today (Sep 19, 2018) in App Store so I dowloaded and installed it.
PROBLEMS:
1. Have no idea where the extension lives nor how to access it in order to customize (on an iMac).
2. Can't figure out how to add button to Safari toolbar (was super easy to do on old Adblock).
3. SCARY to read that Adblock Plus Icon can read my sensitive info (passwords, credit cards, browsing history, etc.) - big NO, NO.

Any clarification would be much appreciated.

Hello Curious8!

Thanks for the follow up! We are more than happy to help! We are aware that some users are having issues with the icon and are actively working to resolve this. Thanks so much for your patience. Can you confirm what OS version you are using? Also, regarding the elevated permissions... this is used via the toolbar extension to read the current URL of the webpage you are on. Rest assured we do not store or collect data regarding credit cards or passwords. We understand that this can be a concern for users. If you wish to turn the toolbar icon off, you can do so in the preferences of the main extension.

Thanks
Shannon
