Dosen't work properly since 23/24th March 2019

I'm a Mac user and use Adblock Plus for Safari since years. I always was very content on almost all websites I visited. Since about 23th or 24th March 2019 I often face advertisement despite Adblock Plus, not only on youtube but also on other sites. The problem continues when I change settings or try other adblock applications. Even on other browsers I can't get rid of the advertisement. It also was useless to reinstall Adblock Plus or to reinstall my MacOS 10.14.4 Mojave. The good news is: there is not yet very much advertisement till today. But during this time it seems to become more from day to day - it's a week now.
Am I making a mistake or has the end of adblockers begun?

What browser ? version ? ABP version ?
Provide example pages with unblockable ads.
(I can test firefox, chromium browsers, not safari)

Your hint was successful. I tried Google Chrome and Firefox again and the advertisement has disappeared there. Maybe I missed to deactivate acceptable ads in my first try. Nevertheless in Safari the problem persists. Thank you.

Adguard also doesn't work well with Safari
