Stopsign Logo Disappeared

Adblock Plus was working fine and suddenly the logo is gone from the Safari toolbar. Whitelisting websites is now a complicated business, since I can't just click on the logo and whitelist while on the website page.
How to restore the logo and its functionality? Using Safari 12.1.1. and Mojave 10.14.5.
