Need more robust AdBlock version!

Post by The_Barron »

I can't believe the number of sites I usually visit daily, many times, multiple times and they are now all blocking my access & wanting me to turn off the AdBlock & essentially allow all the non-stop ads! Boo! :x

What's the workaround here? Too many sites have wised up, I fear.

A fix is well overdue, please.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us! We are aware that more sites are requiring our users to turn off their ad blockers. It is legally within their right to request this, but we do not think it is a best practice for promoting a fully sustainable web. Not to worry we are investigating ways to legally combat this to better serve our users. Stay tuned for updates!

Thanks for the speedy reply. I just encountered two more sites that I visit daily that now want me to turn off the AdBlocker. Forget it!

Please post a fix aka workaround soon!

I know I can't be the only one noticing this alarming problem with any type of ad blocker.

@ The_Barron

Can you also send us some example URLs where this is happening?

Thanks

Where do I send the links to the sites?

Hi @The Barron!

You can post them here or send them to support@adblockplus.org. Either is fine.

Thanks
