I can't put adfly on my exceptions list and I refuse to disable my ad blocker completely, so the only way I could have both was to right-click the adfly link and open in incognito. Make sure to go to Extensions and uncheck the box that allows adblock in incognito (by default the extensions are uncheck).

Sure it allows ads on the adfly page but I'd rather sit through that for 5 secs since I have yet to find a way to go on that site without completely disabling my adblocker.

What this company is doing is illegal, because it's not a fair thing. I have "the right" to use adblock plus without any kind of restrictions, beyond any advertising business! What concept of freedom is this? Developers should fix this problem.
While it's true AdFly can be a nuisance, they are certainly not doing anything illegal, nor unfair. By using AdBlock, you are essentially blocking AdFly's source of revenue. In their eyes, using AdBlock is "unfair", and they have every right to restrict your use of their web service. It's similar to any store in real life; If you don't pay, you don't get what you want.

I for one just use this custom filter, and I'll add on more associated domains as I find them.

Code: Select all

@@||adf.ly^$domain=adf.ly|q.gs
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

and i honestly couldn't care less about you're wastes of bandwidth, adf.ly. first it had a button you could click to bypass this popup, now i guess they're disliking of adblockers has grown. too bad for them, whether or not i want to see ads isn't a choice they get to make for me.

Seems you can't bypass the adblock warning now. Example link: http://adf.ly/14KMbv
Anyone got a rule to bypass this?

UPDATE: seems easylist is the culprit here. I disabled easylist and added adf.ly###rf to my own rules and it now works.
Would be nice if the easylist admin could update the filters

I am getting the same warning about adblock being detected by adf.ly but I can press continue button (after 10 sec) in chrome. Image
But After I click continue, I am getting an ad (two tabs are opened, one is an ad)

Today I was trying to surf http://adf.ly/1XHJoS and I am getting an adblock detected message with no way to continue to the next page. (I am using the newest easylist and funboy list and anti adblock warning removal).
