Using just these 4 filters I was able to watch a couple episodes of the Late Show straight through without any commercials. I'll give it a try next week with Young & the Restless or some other CBS show, and let you know if it doesn't work with them. Right now this looks like a great fix. Thanks again for your help, you're amazing!

These last filters are working on CBS.com but not on CBSNEWS.com. On their news site you don't see the player at all until you disable Ad-Block. Can anyone suggest a filter for this?

add

Code: Select all

@@/adblock*$domain=cbsnews.com
tested for this page: http://www.cbsnews.com/videos/first-gop ... servatory/

That didn't work for me on cbsnews but I found the source of the problem. Once I added this exception I could view the news videos.

well, that script was blocked by fanboy's annoyance list, but you still need the filter above (otherwise a detecting message will appear)

Nevermind. I went back a page and added some of the filters listed and it fixed getting that message.

Anyone having trouble with CBS again? I'm on Firefox, and CBS is detecting Adblock and not playing videos.

Wasn't working for me last night. I was about to clear out all my rules and start over, but if I'm not the only one, then it's not me, it's Adblock.

I can also concur that even with these new filters, it does not work. Still.

I tested right now firefox / chrome
and this filter (1 of those above) it works

Code: Select all

@@||pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/ads?*rule*$object-subrequest,domain=cbs.com
tested show: http://www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/vi ... episode-5/

Did you disable all other extensions / addons ?
Disable web shields in your antivirus / antivirus plugins in your browser

If you have firefox, submit an issue report and then post here the report's link (do this disabling all other addons, keep only ABP)
