I started noticing I couldn't open a link with the left mouse button, I could right click and open in a new Window but the left click did nothing, I can hit refresh on the browser and then the left click works! I'm using the current version of Chrome Version 34.0.1847.131 m, Adblock Plus 1.8.1
This issue happens all the time on the Drudge Report site, you have to start without any other chrome session active, once you hit refresh most the time the left click works.
With the filter list disabled it still does it, if I disable adblock I can left click.
Left Click with Chrome fails
Re: Left Click with Chrome fails
which filter lists are enabled ?
what other extensions are installed ? ==> try keeping enabled only ABP and re-test
I tried the main page
http://www.drudgereport.com/
with easylist, easyprivacy and no issue here
Have I click a specific link ?

Re: Left Click with Chrome fails
With only the Easylist enabled (latest version downloaded) I close Chrome, Open then click on a link http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2014/ma ... attle-blm/ I get:
GET http://intermarket.grapeshot.co.uk/main ... seResponse net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
and nothing happens: NOTE - this is from the Tools/Console in Chrome
After I hit REFRESH on the browser bar I get:
GET http://web.adblade.com/js/ads/show.js net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT (index):6488 Consider using 'dppx' units instead of 'dpi', as in CSS 'dpi' means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual 'dpi' of a screen. and the Links work.
I can disable EasyList and the links work without a refresh, with Easylist enabled if any other instance of Chrome is open and I've hit refresh in that instance then any new Chrome windows work.

Re: Left Click with Chrome fails
I have Drudge as my home page so the minute the page opens I can click any link and the link fails.
Hit the browser refresh and links work.
Turn Easylist off, close the browser, start chrome (Drudgereport.com is the home page) click and link it works.
Turn Easylist on, close the browser, start chrome (Drudgereport.com is the home page) click and link it fails.
