Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Just updated the filters but still showing ads and adblock warning.
Also found this exception in easylist: @@||phncdn.com^*/ads.js - disabled it to see if it was that but it didn't change anything.

Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Same for redtube ads.
Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Code: Select all
||pornhub.com/jpg/big$image
||redtube.com/nymphos$image
Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
I'm also seeing ads. Will the code you submitted above be addded to EasyList? Mine is updated (11-01-2015) but doesn't have that specific code.

Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning

Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Code: Select all
pornhub.com###adBlockAlert
Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Was working for a while; guess they changed it. The last one isn't really needed, but here you go:
Code: Select all
||pornhub.com/camcorder/reality/*
pornhub.com##DIV[style="float: none; position: static; clear: none; text-align: center; margin: 0px auto;"]
||redtube.com/advertising

Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Selecting a video on redtube will open the video in a new tab, but the current tab will redirect to some other site (rated poorly on WOT).

Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
Hi cmmc,
To get rid of those annoying "Disable Adblocker" notifications on many websites install the subscription "Adblock Warning Removal List"
For those websites where they are still present when using Firefox simply install the "Element Hiding Helper" for Adblock Plus and create a custom rule to block/hide them when the Adblock Plus Subscription "Adblock Warning Removal List" fails.
If using Safari click on the Adblock Plus Toolbar button and use the "Block Element" feature to block/hide them.
You can also use these type of Element Hiding rules to carefully block/hide those specific page areas where the ads are featured.
Unfortunately I do not have any experience with Chrome or Opera, So I can't give you any advice regarding those browsers.
For a while I also encountered very annoying and persistent popups/redirects on http://www.pornhub.com and http://www.redtube.com
I have found a quite simple solution and I don't really know the technical details of how this works, But it obviously has a lot to do with cookies recognising your presence and the duration of your viewing on these sites. Other factors are undoubtedly involved.
To stop them simply go into your preferred browser Preferences and BLOCK all cookies from http://www.redtube.com and http://www.pornhub.com and any sites where this occurs.
You also need to ensure that you delete any existing cookies from these sites.
To stop these popups/redirects when using Firefox go to your Firefox Preferences, click on the Privacy section and put in an Exception Rule to BLOCK ALL COOKIES from http://www.pornhub.com and http://www.redtube.com
Then delete any Cookies from the above websites and other websites which have produced the popups/redirects.
Also do this for any other adult content website which produces these very annoying popups/redirects.
For Firefox you should install the GreaseMonkey AddOn or Scriptish,
For Chrome install TamperMonkey,
For Opera install TamperMonkey or ViolentMonkey,
For Safari install NinjaKit
Then go to http://www.greasyfork.org and install the ExtendRedTube script https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/2106-extendredtube to further remove a lot of ads and other annoyances and it also adds a few other improvements to that website http://www.redtube.com
Also use the script ExtendPornHub https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/6587-extendpornhub which should also help.
I also recommend the Anti Adblock Killer script https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/735-a ... iller-reek
I do hope this helps as I personally have found that this simple blocking of cookies for those adult content sites has been effective in blocking those popups/redirects for me.

Re: Pornhub showing ads, adblock warning
This is the correct URL for ExtendRedTube: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/2106-extendredtube
And this is the correct URL for Anti-Adblock Killer by Reek: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/735-a ... iller-reek
Please use links to the actual UserScript pages, rather than search-result pages.
(Also, because this is not the Firefox-specific forum, you can install TamperMonkey for Chrome or Opera, ViolentMonkey for Opera, or NinjaKit for Safari, and Scriptish is a nice alternative to GreaseMonkey for Firefox.)

There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
