I understand that ABP can't circumvent cpalead surveys, but when I click the download link on this site, I get a page that asks me to disable Adblock Plus.

Are there any filters that will, at the very least, circumvent this warning page?

Personally I'd boycott the webpages that use cpalead, they're not worth the time or effort. I'm sure there is plenty of alternative websites out there without this intrusive adserver.

This isn't a site I use regularly. It's just something I came across while looking for a file. Are you saying there aren't enough sites using cpalead to warrant a filter that fixes them? Or it can't be fixed?

I do not recommend visiting sites that force the user to jump through so many hoops (and use such intrusive measures ).

Using my subs however I was not redirected when trying to download.

I was also able to circumvent the surveys by hiding them with 3 custom rules:

Code: Select all

acapelladdl.com##[allowtransparency="true"]
acapelladdl.com##[style^="display: block; text-align: center; line-height: normal; visibility: visible"]
acapelladdl.com##[style^="display: block; position: absolute; top"]
Note: They were created in FF4 and have received very little testing but I hope I have been of some help.

It doesn't depend on AdBlock so it works on other browsers too,http://www.noithat-fami.net http://www.noithat190.net.vn http://www.noithat-fami.net http://www.noithat190.net.vn I'm mainly a chrome user now and I miss the awesomeness of AdBlock plus, and from what I understand Chrome isn't able to do this kind of extension to the extent that Firefox allows.

Code: Select all

javascript:(function(){for(var a=window.innerWidth,b=window.innerHeight,c=document.body.getElementsByTagName("*"),d=c.length,e,f,g,h;d--;){e=document.defaultView.getComputedStyle(c[d]);f=e.getPropertyValue("z-index");g=parseInt(e.getPropertyValue("width"));h=parseInt(e.getPropertyValue("height"));if(g/a>0.9&&h/b>0.9&&f&&!isNaN(parseInt(f))){c[d].style.display="none"}}for(var i=0;i<1E4;i++){clearInterval(i);clearTimeout(i)}for(i in window)i!="location"&&delete window[i];var j=document.getElementsByTagName("*");for(d=j.length;d--;)j[d].style.visibility="";})()
i tried your way and it worked :)
i liked the bookmark trick, Lool :twisted:
thanks for sharing and hope that you liked my way too!
