AdBock detected on firstrowsports

Post by mlsmith45 »

First row has a new method of detecting adblock. Last year, you could simply inspect elements and delete each add manually or use a filter. But now they seem to replace the video iframe with a website called www.stopadblock.info. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

Here are a couple links for this:

http://firstrowi.eu/hockey/first-belaru ... -row659671

Any of these sites gives the same result - firstrowsportes.eu, ifirstrowus.eu, firstrowsports.me (.cc, .bz) ... Also with any of these domains you are often redirected.
For example: http://feed2all.org/hockey/feed-belarus ... -2all2844j

Sportlemon.tv is using the same method of blocking video:

http://sportcategory.org/hockey/belarus ... ia-fs5hdam

Hmm..didn't work on either site. Also, on firstrow, gave me a few ads back that were being blocked.

No, unfortunately that didn't do it. Actually, a few ads that were blocked have reappeared after I added those filters?!

Yeah, don't really know what's going on...cut and paste what you have. As far as getting rid of any additional ads that come back, that's not a problem. but here's what I'm seeing:

http://sportcategory.org/football/jacks ... ts-fs5hdjg

I'm using ABP v 1.9.4 with Chrome v 46.0.2490.86. The only filter list I'm using right now is EasyList. Also, I haven't added any other filters for either of these sites, other than what you gave me. Finally, I tried disabling all my other extensions in Chrome...that didn't work either. :?

That did it..thanks! Awesome. One more question: at sportlemon, any link you attempt to open will open in a new window - often you are redirected to a betting site which is maddening, but eventually you can usually find a working link. Anyway, is there a way to open the link you want as a new tab, rather than a new window?

Here's an example: http://sportcategory.org/football

All of the links on this page will open a new window...some are good, but most redirect you to betting sites.

Thanks again.

Stream is blocked again.. :| I'm having a little trouble working out the filter. Also, is there any way to get the video to display full size ( 650 x 500) once the ad is blocked?

Thanks in advance.

for the full screen, no issues here: just close the ad on stream and you can click the full screen button
