1. This happens even when Adblock Plus is disabled for the site and didn't happen until recently.
2. Is there anyway to only not use fanboy's social list for this particular site?

Got this, just I'm working off my laptop at the moment. (Don't have Adblock Plus there.) I'll try this soon.

I followed this as best I could -- I'm somewhat computer-savvy, but "somewhat" applies. I added a "filter rule" and copy and pasted what you posted into it. It doesn't seem to have changed anything, so possibly I didn't do it correctly. When I hold the mousepointer over the new filter, it shows the copied text. However, as soon as I press the Alt button to do a ScreenPrint, the text disappears. I have another screenshot application, but it uses the Ctrl-Shift combination and again the text disappears. So, I did a ScreenPrint without the text and see an Img button, but don't see how I can insert a file to show you how I added the text -- it's a file, not a URL.

The instructions for Firefox are to paste the filters in, so I copied and pasted all of them. Should each one be done separately (as noted for Chrome, etc.)?

just click "select all" above, then right click, copy and paste in the custom filters group

When I disable Adblock Plus (with the filters copied in), I get the image I posted earlier -- only the right three icons and none of the ones on the left. When Adblock Plus is enabled, there's nothing below the comics.

well, the filter you added is wrong ! You must have a lot of filters not only one with all together concatenated
add 1 by 1 if you can't otherwise

With this image and with Adblock Plus disabled, no change; with Adblock Plus enabled, I do now get the right three icons, but nothing else.

- disable all other addons and test again
- still not working: reset FF, install ABP (no other addon), test again
- you can also create a new profile and test there again (istalling ABP in the new profile): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pr ... x-profiles

(when you reset FF you'll lose bookmarks, passwords, so save them first or use sync to save them)

Adblock Plus is my only Firefox addon. By "disable all other addons", do you mean the other filter?
