Block new window/tab of different domain

Post by tedzhu »

I'm wondering whether this is possible:
When browsing aaa.com, only allow opening a new tab/window with URL that's also under aaa.com. So if the website decides to create a new tab/window under bbb.com, nothing happens.

A less satisfying solution would be to block all new tab/window. I saw there's some filter option regarding popup, but it doesn't seems to work for tab/window.

Thanks!

Are you sure that *$popup,third-party doesn't work?

It works, I guess third-party is the magic word. Thanks !

third-party is a restriction: *$popup by itself would block all popups, even from the same domain.
